Heldevia ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains which personal data this website processes, why, and for how long, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What This Website Processes
This website has no contact form, no user accounts and no newsletter. It processes only three kinds of data: the technical data of each request in the server logs, anonymous audience statistics, and the emails you choose to send us.
Server Logs
When you visit a page, our web server records technical data about the request: IP address, date and time, requested address, referring page, response status and the browser's user agent. We use these logs only to operate the website, diagnose errors and protect it against abuse.
Audience Statistics
We measure our audience with Plausible Analytics, self-hosted on the same server as the website, at Infomaniak in Switzerland. It sets no cookies and does not store your IP address: each visit is counted with an anonymous identifier derived from a random value that changes every 24 hours and is then deleted, so you cannot be recognized from one day to the next. We only see aggregated figures, such as the number of visits per page.
Emails
If you write to info@heldevia.ch, we process your email address, the content of your message and any attachments in order to reply and, where applicable, to prepare or carry out a business relationship with you. Our mailbox is hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland.
Where Data Is Stored and Who Receives It
The website and its statistics run on a server of Infomaniak Public Cloud in Switzerland. Backups of the statistics are kept in Infomaniak's object storage in Switzerland, in a separate project. Infomaniak, a Swiss company, processes data on our behalf as our hosting and email provider. We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising or profiling.
Data Retention
Server logs are kept only as long as needed to operate and secure the website. Statistics no longer contain personal data once the daily identifier expires. Emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, or as long as the law requires.
Your Rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its processing and to receive it in a common format. To exercise these rights, write to us at info@heldevia.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Cookies and Local Storage
This website sets no cookies. If you choose a light or dark theme, that preference is saved in your browser's local storage; it stays on your device and is never sent to us.
